Carlos Guerrero,
Rangers Coordinator

Carlos Guerrero (he/him/his), Rangers Coordinator, joined YES in July of 2022. Carlos was born and raised in Berkeley and lived in Richmond for several years. During that time, Carlos deepened the connection he had to the Richmond community and started to call it home. He attended San Francisco State University and after earning a B.S. in Kinesiology, he came back to Richmond to serve the community through youth development programming, the non-profit sector, and education, working for several youth organizations including Playworks, and the West Contra Costa Unified School District. After working at other school districts, his journey led him to YES where Carlos continues to engage youth, encouraging them to live an active life by creating access to Nature and all that it has to offer.
