Raquel Galicia,
Bilingual Outreach Coordinator
Raquel Galicia (she/her/hers), Bilingual Outreach Coordinator, joined YES in February 2022. Raquel was born in Mexico City, and was raised in San Francisco. Her family moved to Richmond where she has been residing since 2007. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. After 10 years in retail, Raquel decided to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector. She is passionate about wellness and has recently started practicing yoga with her stepson. Raquel enjoys taking walks with her son and their dog in Point Pinole. Family is very important to her as she partakes in family game nights occasionally and spends time with her family on Sundays. Raquel is very excited to be a part of the YES team.
