Sabrina Schaefer,
Development and Communications Coordinator
Sabrina Schaefer (she/her), Development and Communications Coordinator, joined YES in August 2021. Sabrina discovered a passion for youth development while volunteering as a coach with American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO) in the East Bay Area. This experience led her to pursue a career in community-based organizations where she has had the opportunity to advance equal access for youth to the areas that have shaped her own life: sports and the outdoors.
After earning her A.A. from Lake Tahoe Community College, Sabrina returned to the Bay Area where she completed a B.A. in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. During her spare time, you can find Sabrina skiing in the Sierras, enjoying a chilly Northern coast beach, or baking with her latest farmers’ market haul.
