Devika Saxena, Development Director
Devika Saxena (she/her/hers), Development Director, joined the YES team in January 2021. She discovered her passion for youth leadership while teaching at a summer learning program in New Orleans, her adopted hometown. Inspired by the curiosity, talents, and resilience of her students, Devika spent eleven years working at education, social justice, and legal service non-profit organizations, quickly finding her niche in development.
She has lived in the Bay Area since 2016. On weekends she loves to explore parks with her preschooler and sample the delicious culinary offerings of the East Bay with her partner.
