Melissa Guajardo, Director of Finance and Operations
Melissa Guajardo (she/her), Director of Finance and Operations, joined YES in September 2022. She started her public health career as an HIV educator and harm reduction advocate and has spent the time since getting her MPH in health promotion, running nutrition education, food access and youth civic engagement programs. She turned her attention to Finance, HR and Operations full time in 2016. Her love for the work YES does comes from memories of being a camp counselor and witnessing the awe and wonder on the face of a 6th grade boy seeing the stars for the first time.
